Furniture Assembly & Handyman in Laguna Beach

Hillside homes and stairs. A lot of Laguna Beach homes — Top of the World, Bluebird Canyon, the streets above Coast Highway — sit on steep lots with long stairways and narrow entries. I plan for that: big pieces like wardrobes, storage beds and dining tables get assembled in the room they're going to live in, not in the garage, so nothing has to be carried up the stairs fully built.

Parking and access. Street parking near the beaches and downtown gets tight, especially in summer. Tell me about driveway access, a guest spot or a gate code when you book and I'll plan the arrival time around it.

Older cottages and plaster walls. Many Laguna cottages have plaster, lath or uneven walls. For TV mounting, mirrors, shelves and dresser anchoring I find solid framing and use hardware rated for the wall, instead of relying on the plastic anchors that come in the box.

Coastal air and outdoor furniture. Salt air is hard on patio sets, grills and outdoor storage. When I assemble outdoor pieces near the coast I check that exposed hardware is stainless or coated and point out any parts that will need attention down the road.

Vacation rentals and second homes. If you manage a Laguna Beach rental, I can set up or replace beds, dressers, patio furniture and TVs between guests, and haul the boxes away so the unit is ready to book. One flat rate, confirmed before I arrive. See services for hosts and property managers.
